Accidental Damage & Liquid Damage

If your mobile device has been accidentally damaged, your device will be repaired and returned to you within 7 days. This includes door-to-door service which means you don’t need to go to any shop or drop-off location.

Replacement

If the defect caused by Accidental or Liquid Damage id deemed beyond repair or economical repair we will provide you a like-for-like replacement.

Pick-up & delivery service

Call our hotline, send an SMS, email or log on to our customer Claims Portal and we will pick your mobile device from your preferred address and arrange delivery after repair.

 

GENERAL EXCLUSIONS

Mobile devices that are still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty or any other warranty in effect in respect of Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage.

Any defects inherent to Manufacturer’s recall.

Products with removed or altered serial numbers.

Loss or damage arising from atmospheric conditions, wear & tear, corrosion, discoloration, rust, vermin and insects.

Any act of terrorism.

Loss or damage arising from war, invasion, hostilities, civil war, civil commotion, military or usurped power.

Flood, earthquake or any other convulsions of nature.

Ionizing, radiation or contamination by radio activity from any nuclear fuel from any nuclear wastes.

Any claim where we discover deception, fraud and illegal use of the mobile device.

Criminal Breach of Trust.


Any deliberate act or negligence by the Subscriber or any person using the device.

In respect of accidental damage claims they take on any type of craft less than 3 meters long.

Internal leakage of battery unless due to accident.

Electronic derangement or malfunction including its own ignition or burn out, whether as a result of use, misuse, test or repair.

Any process of routine cleaning, restoring, adjustment, repair or dismantling of device.

Mysterious disappearance, unexplained and/or improvable event.

Product defects whether latent or inherent.

Any additional cost incurred in respect to:

Loss of value, use or information stored in memories.

When repairing or replacing aerials, battery chargers or batteries where these items are the only part of the Mobile Device that have been Damaged or stolen.

When replacing car kits or car phones and other accessories which can no longer be used with the Mobile Device.
